This app is primarily intended for beginner artists who have trouble getting good color schemes for their art, or for those who arent very experienced with color theory.
This app will help you step by step through the process.- learn the 3 basic types of color palettes- learn what each color is associated with- learn what hue, saturation, and luminance mean- understand the importance of contrastThen you can view your palette, and either screenshot the results screen and paste it into your drawing application, or toggle on the hex code viewer so you know the exact colors you need to input for your website, game, menu, or whatever else youre working on!If you have a palette already and you want to see some info on it, then you can input your colors and the app will show you some diagnostics on it, such as hue distribution, what type your palette is, hue and luminance contrast, as well as identifying what colors youre using.
This analysis algorithm is still in its infancy.In a hurry or want to roll the dice?
You can simply hit a button on the main menu and the app will give you a palette, no questions asked.
